Here is what happens between opening the app and a professional arriving.
You post what you need
Open the app, drop your location, and describe the visit: who the care is for, what kind of help, and when. It takes about a minute.
Nearby professionals see it
Approved professionals in your area are notified. You see who responds, their profile, their verified credentials, and their rate.
You agree the details
Message them directly in the app to confirm the time and anything specific about the visit. Nothing is booked until you say yes.
The visit is confirmed
You get a confirmation with the time and the professional's details. Payment is held securely and released after the session is complete.
Every message, confirmation and payment stays in the app, so there is a record of what was agreed.

Does CALiNGA employ the care professionals?
No. CALiNGA is a technology platform that introduces families to independent care professionals. The professionals work for themselves, set their own rates and availability, and decide which requests to take. CALiNGA does not employ, supervise or dispatch them.
How much does it cost?
The app is free for families to download and use. You pay the rate agreed with the professional for the visit. Care professionals can access and respond to available service opportunities through the CALiNGA platform.
How do I know a professional is genuine?
Professionals must submit their credentials and identity documents. A profile is not visible to families and cannot receive requests until those documents have been reviewed and approved.
What if I need to cancel?
You can cancel a request from the app before the visit begins. Cancellation terms are shown at the time of booking and are set out in full in our terms and conditions.
